VisitorLog.io is a free visitor management system for facilities that need to know exactly who is on site, when they arrived, and when they left.
Why We Built This
We built VisitorLog because the visitor management tools we evaluated were either too expensive for small and mid-size facilities or too thin to meet real compliance requirements. Enterprise platforms charge per-user fees that make no sense when your front desk needs to know who walked in. The free tools are sign-in sheets with a login page.
VisitorLog sits in between. Every facility gets QR code check-in, real-time notifications, badge printing, self-service kiosks, security screening, audit trails, and a full REST API. The free tier is the real product, not a stripped-down demo. It covers one facility and up to 300 users with no feature gates on the core platform. Need to run more than one facility? Contact us.
The platform maps to physical security controls required by CMMC 2.0, NIST 800-171, HIPAA, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, and PCI DSS. Each organization gets its own isolated database (a physically separate SQLite file that no other tenant can access), not row-level filtering on a shared database.
